Happy International Women's Day!

I’m lucky to have crossed paths with so many kick ass women in my life. Thank you to those who have picked me up when I’ve fallen, scraped me off the floor, laughed and cried with me, propelled me forward, supported me, reminded me to rest, inspired me, encouraged and cheered for me, fought with me and have chosen to walk beside me. Most of all, thank you for loving me, flaws and all. You. Are. Amazing. I wouldn’t be who I am without you. I’m grateful to carry a piece of you with me every day. Follow-Up

     For the last two weeks, I've been congratulating myself on producing the eleven eggs retrieved.  Today was my final medical appointment for the egg freezing process.  Before signing the papers confirming how many eggs are going to the freezer,  I'm given a new total.   Unfortunately, two eggs didn't mature enough to be frozen.  Bummer.  This makes my total nine. Considering I've been high-fiving myself about the number eleven, I feel a little disappointed.
